It was a very important day on Thursday, December 12, when the Grampaw Pettibone Squadron had the Sailors of the Quarter from the Seal Beach Naval Weapons Station as their guests. Certificates of Appreciation and other gifts were presented to this outstanding group.

Tim Brown, Commanding Officer for Grampaw Pettibone Squadron, and MNC(SW/EXW) Justin Tassey, Senior Enlisted Advisor, Munitions Command Pacific Seal Beach, West Division, Seal Beach, participated in the presentation of Certificates of Appreciation for these outstanding sailors. Local restaurants participating in honoring the SOQ’s were: Avila’s El Ranchito Mexican Restaurant, California Pizza Kitchen. Chick-fil-A, Corner Bakery Café, Finbar’s Italian Restaurant, Fish Camp, Glory Days Beachside Grill, Harry’s Grill, O’Malley’s on Main, Peachwave Seal Beach, Santa Fe Importers, Spaghettini, The Crab Cooker of Newport Beach in Tustin. and Yucatan Grill Also, the USAA Insurance Company presented attractive medallions to the honorees.
